On behalf of the Bulgarian Working Group on Echocardiography and the Bulgarian Society of Cardiology in close collaboration with EAE, it is our pleasure to welcome you to the EAE Educational Course, 5th-7th April 2012, in Sofia, Bulgaria, where specialists from European countries will gather seeking to grow in the field of Myocardial Deformation Imaging.
The European Association of Echocardiography is committed to maintaining a high standard of professional excellence among cardiologists specialized in Echocardiography and to promoting excellence in clinical diagnosis, research, technical development, and education in cardiovascular ultrasound and other imaging modalities in Europe.
The course aims at cardiologist in training and cardiologist in practice who work in the field of echocardiography and who have a specific interest myocardial function imaging, to provide a high quality and authoritative review of the used techniques and current clinical applications and will focusing in the latest approaches on myocardial deformation imaging and 3D echocardiography with important theoretical, but mainly very practical topics in daily clinical practice.
All topics will be addressed by state-of-the-art lectures and two hours of live case demonstrations by an international faculty of experts in the field. It will provide the opportunity to learn, update and have hands-on training with in-depth review of the subject with the pioneers in the field. Leading experts from Europe will be available to have one to one interaction during the course.
